HANG TIEN EXPLORATION

Hang Tien, or “Fairy Cave” is well known as it’s very huge in size – probably the most enormous cave in Tu Lan Cave system, and unique formations. This tour is specially designed for those who don’t have much time exploring or who just want an escape from the hustle and bustle city. Conquering Fairy Cave gonna be a unique experience combined with jungle trekking, cave exploration and forest camping.

Long pants and long-sleeved shirt to wear during the trek (easy to dry)

Short and t-shirt to wear at campsite (warm clothes in winter)

1 pair of trekking boots/shoes – difficult terrain, good footwear necessary

1 pair of flip flop (sandals) for campsite

Medium size towel and swim wear

1 -2 pairs of calf length densely woven socks

1st day : PHONG NHA – TAN HOA – SECRET CAVE – HUNG TON CAVE – LA KEN CAMPSITE

After picking you up at any local hotel in Phong Nha, we will drive to our headquarter office to learn about safety measures, collect your gear and sign the Release Form.

Send your last farewell to the last pieces of humanity. Begin to trek through marvelous peanut and corn fields to the Rao Nan River. This area is superbly featured on the Hollywood blockbuster movie named Kong: Skull Island.

Once across the river, climb a small hill towards Secret Cave. The cave will surely astonish you with its outstanding formations. Then spend about an hour inside the cave before trekking another hour to Hung Ton Cave.

Be ready for your tasty riverside lunch at the Hung Ton Cave’s entrance. Delicious food will recharge you plenty of energy for the next part of this adventure.

The squad will then explore the marvelous Cave before swimming out to To Mo Valley. Follow the guide to climb through Lom Com Mountain to reach the La Ken campsite, located by the Rao Nan River.

Time to enjoy a quick swim before your freshly prepared dinner. Under a thousand stars of the Tu Lan sky, you will then easily fall asleep.

2nd day : LA KEN VALLEY – HUNG NHAI VALLEY – MOOC LAGOON – TIEN CAMPSITE

Kick start your day in a very special way with enjoyable breakfast then go in search of further wonders.

Trek and climb over hills before reaching the beautiful waterfall, where a splendid lunch awaits you.

Trek though Hung Nhai Valley to enjoy its fertile valleys; breathe in the fresh air and enjoy every moment of it. You then will reach a tranquil magnificent blue lagoon located right in the middle of the jungle surrounded by rocks.

Enjoy a refreshing swimming as the sun goes down. Our team will prepare a mouth-watering fulfilling BBQ dinner for you while you set up camp and dry off.

The lullaby of the water will soothe you to sleep tight.

3rd day : TIEN CAMPSITE – FAIRY CAVE 1 – FAIRY CAVE 2 – DONG DAU MOUNTAIN – TAN HOA – PHONG NHA

Start your last morning in the jungle with breakfast served right by the magnificent green natural lagoon. Climb over a field of boulders before reaching the sight of Fairy Cave 1.

The exit of Fairy Cave1 slowly appears when the group goes deep into and climb up a vertical stair about 10m high. A fragrant lunch has been prepared at the entrance of the cave to empower you.

After crossing the forest about 30 minutes, the underground world of Fairy Cave 2 gradually exposes to the very small cave entrance. Carefully follow the 300m marked road into the cave to explore Fairy Cave 2, you will slowly feel the vastness and majesty hidden behind all. Make your way out, back through the exit of Fairy Cave 1.

Fill the last moments of the adventure with the return trek through Dong Dau Mountain to the road. Cool beverages await you on your trek back.
