1st day : PRINCE OF BAC LIEU’S HOUSE - XIEM CAN PAGODA

Depart from Saigon, we will drive to Bac Lieu – the hometown of the Dark Duke, a well-known playboy in South Vietnam in early 20th century.

On arrival, we will visit Cong Tu Bac Lieu House (House of Bac Lieu Duke). You can find out more about the ancient French architecture, historical artifacts, and hear about the life of the rich in the South during the colonial period.

Have lunch with Bac Lieu local dishes.

Xiem Can pagoda is the typical Khmer temple in Bac Lieu, as it’s the combination of architecture, sculpture and religion from gate to the center chamber. Traveling to Bạc Liêu, you have to put Xiem Can pagoda on your must-see list. Not only contemplate the peaceful scenery, but also learn about Khmer culture and history at Xiem Can Pagoda.

2nd day : U MINH HA NATIONAL PARK – CAN THO CITY – DON CA TAI TU

In the morning, we will head up to U Minh Ha National Park, which offers you with typical characteristics of Southern forest, old-growing trees and species listed in the World Red Book. You can sit on the local boat and drift on canals to breathe in full of chest fresh and cool air, go fishing and listen to the singing of hundreds of birds.

After lunch, we will transfer you to Can Tho city. Take a look at the famous Binh Khanh fruit farm as well as enjoy the specialties of Mekong Delta region.

Don’t skip Binh Thuy Old House when setting to Mekong Delta, which is an ideal place to explore the region’s history. The gardens house offers a comfortable environment full of fresh air and brilliant sunshine.

Enjoy dinner along the calm waterways of Hau River, contemplate the illuminating looks of Can Tho at night as listening soft melodies and chants of Don Ca Tai Tu.

3rd day : CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – CHAU DOC TOWN

Wake up and enjoy breakfast, we will arrive to Cai Rang floating market in the early morning. Here, you are able to get the bustling trade scene with specialties, have a glimpse the floating houses and the slow pace of the daily life of local people on the wooden boat along the waterways.

Have a break and lunch with local cuisine in Can Tho.

Transfer to Chau Doc town and check in Victoria Nui Sam lodge. Enjoy your free time here with modern facilities: massage, outdoor swimming pool and look out to the beautiful landscape.

Have dinner at La Giang Restaurant & Bar, which serves a variety of European and Asian cuisine for your meals. Dinner can be served in a private view, with a 360 degree view of the entire valley at sunset.

4th day : TRA SU CAJUPUT FOREST – CHAU DOC TOWN

We will transfer to Tra Su forest – the famous mangrove forest where home of many rare flora and fauna. It will absolutely be unique experience when immersing in the calm nature, view the bird flock to the melaleuca trees and intermingled with the deep blue between the ancient melaleuca forest during the trip through the forest.

Chau Doc Market is one of the most vibrant and colourful in the Mekong Delta. A concert of chaos, animals, fish and vegetables all offered by elegant, old, young vendors and all very nice people.

Rest for a while and have lunch at Chau Doc local restaurant.

Continue driving to Ba Chua Xu temple and exploring the architecture of historical relic. Coming here, you will have chance to pray and wallow into the serenity of this spiritual place.

Wrap up the journey and transfer you back to Ho Chi Minh city. We may reach Ho Chi Minh quite late at night.
