Itinerary
Depart from Ho Chi Minh City, we will arrive in Can Tho in time for having lunch with tasting local cuisines at Mien Tay Riverside Restaurant.
Take a look at the famous My Khanh fruit farm as well as enjoy the specialties of Mekong Delta region. A trip to the fruit farm is a precious chance to escape from the city heat by hiding under a lush garden and being fed with fresh fruit.
Don’t skip Binh Thuy Old House when setting to Mekong Delta, which is an ideal place to explore the region’s history. The gardens house offers a comfortable environment full of fresh air and brilliant sunshine.
Enjoy dinner along the calm waterways of Hau River on Ninh Kieu Cruise, contemplate the illuminating looks of Can Tho at night as listening soft melodies and chants of Don Ca Tai Tu.
Overnight at Victoria Can Tho with the charming overview of Hau River surrounding.
Wake up in the early morning, you will have chance to experience typical breakfast on cruise and first impression of the famous Cai Rang Floating Market. You will get extremely lively bustling trading scene, experience fresh specialties and steal a glimpse of the rhythm of the town along the waterways of Mekong Delta.
Have lunch with sauce hotpot in Can Tho before transferring to Chau Doc town.
Have dinner at La Giang Restaurant & Bar, which serves a variety of European and Asian cuisine for your meals. Dinner can be served in a private view, with a 360-degree view of the entire rice field at sunset.
Overnight at Victoria Nui Sam Lodge.
We will transfer to Tra Su forest – the famous mangrove forest where home of many rare flora and fauna. As settling on boat, you will immerse in the calm nature, view the bird flock to the melaleuca trees and intermingled with the deep blue between the ancient melaleuca forest during the trip through the forest.
Chau Doc Market is one of the most vibrant and colourful markets in the Mekong Delta. A concert of chaos, animals, fish and vegetables all offered by elegant, old, young vendors and all very nice people.
Rest for a while and have lunch at Chau Doc local restaurant.
Continue driving to Ba Chua Xu temple and exploring the architecture of historical relic. Coming here, you will have chance to pray and wallow into the serenity of this spiritual place.
Free time relaxing and staying at Victoria Chau Doc.
Situated by the bank of annually windy Tien River, Sa Dec Flower Village is the homeland of hundreds “uncanny flowers and strange herbs”.
You will also have chance to contemplate the wonderful beauty of Cha La – a new kind of ornamental tree and try the fresh and yellow fruit bunches.
Huynh Thuy Le’s Old House is very famous for not only its architecture combined between Oriental and Western features but also its relation to the true love story between the French young lady who later became the writer Marguerite Duras and the Vietnamese young man who was the house owner named Huynh Thuy Le.
Enjoy lunch with authentic local cuisines in Sa Dec before returning to HCMC. We may reach HCMC quite late at night.
