The Abandoned Valley in a remote area of the world heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park is traversed by part of the famous Ho Chi Minh trail. This tour takes in 12km of the Ho Chi Minh trail, exploring the Vietnamese tropical forest and experiencing the history of the Vietnam-American war as you trek along the narrow track.

: ITINERARY

Hike through the original Ho Chi Minh trail to the heart of Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park: Abandoned Valley.

Diving deep into the jungle to reach the Dark cave initially. As arriving at Dark Cave, we will have time for a small break and some snacks. At the private side of Dark Cave you will explore 800m into the darkness with your guide and experience complete darkness in the depths of the cave.

Take a short break before carrying on the trek exploring the magnificent Hang E Cave. Enjoy a mouthwatering jungle BBQ (vegan options available) and spring roll for lunch. Quick change into your swim wear and swim in the wonderful blue water of the cave.

Have a coffee break before we trek back to the road.

Wrap up your challenging trekking today then we will transfer you back to your accommodation in Phong Nha.
