Thanks to immense primitive forest and wonderful natural scenery, En Cave is becoming an impressive attraction in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. On the trekking journey to En Cave, we will have chances to experience the daily life and customs of Ban Doong ethnic minority village living among majestic Truong Son.

Long pants and long-sleeved shirt to wear during the trek (easy to dry)

Short and t-shirt to wear at campsite (warm clothes in winter)

1 pair of trekking boots/shoes – difficult terrain, good footwear necessary

1 pair of flip flop (sandals) for campsite

Medium size towel and swim wear

1 -2 pairs of calf length densely woven socks

1st day : PHONG NHA NATIONAL PARK – BAN DOONG VILLAGE – EN CAVE

After a 45-min drive through the National Park, we will reach the trailhead and leave the road behind for the jungle.

Hike through rich primary forest to reach the Ban Doong minority village, where you will enjoy a welcoming hot cup of tea. You could also witness the daily life and unique culture of the people living among majestic Truong Son.

Have a picnic lunch near the refreshing river. Carry on the trek into the jungle, through rivers and streams and along the river valleys to reach En cave. As arriving, take a quick rest while the porter teams sets up camp within the cave.

Precede the rest of the way through the cave to the breathtaking exit, a scene made famous in the film Pan. Enjoying your downtime chilling out or swimming in the natural pool before having dinner.

Spend the night underground in its massive chamber below sparkling stars recharging energy for tomorrow.

2nd day : EN CAVE – PHONG NHA NATIONAL PARK

Wake up for breakfast and pack up your belongings. After breakfast, we will depart camp to leave En cave. Have lunch and then it’s time to start the journey home.

Trek for the next hour along a shady path through the river alley.

Make your way up the hill to the pickup point, where we will be waiting to drive you back to civilization.
