A cycling trip through North East Vietnam 6 days 5 night will take you the landscapes of the vast lakes in the Ba Be National Park, the rugged views of Cao Bang with the majestic Ban Gioc Waterfall. Cycling in the paved paths to the remote areas of Lang Sơn where is diversified unique cultures of ethnic communities.

Itinerary
After meeting up your tour guide at pick-up location in the centre of Hanoi, you will be transferred to Thai Nguyen by private van. From here, your cycling tour will set off with an easy ride to Bac Kan, covered by lush palm trees and ethnic villages of the Tay and Nung communities bearing different cultures in the entire way.
Following check-out the hotel, you will take a ride bike from Bac Han, mostly uphill. Turn across Highway 3, you can have a slowly cycling on quiet road and view the rustic and tranquil scenes of villages on the opposite side of the river.
Take a rest for lunch en-route.
Afterward, we will begin to get on a boat cruise on Ba Be Lake, known as a wild treasure with the immense natural freshwater lake, one of attractions of Ba Be National Park.
We continue to visit Pac Ngoi village, situated in the National Park, where Tay ethnic minorities have resided. Without sight-seeing the breathtaking landscapes, you can admire traditional houses on stilt, relax in the fresh atmosphere and experience their unique customs.
Enjoy the life of local people by overnight here.
On this day, you will pedal through several passes in the Pia Oac mountain range until reaching Nguyen Binh.
Next, take a change from bicycle to a bus which takes us to Cao Bang. That is a remote mountainous area where there are H’mong, Dzao, Tho and Nung minorites lived together harmoniously. Here, you shall be glance at their life as well as overlook sporadic rice paddies and thin winding roads.
Stay one night in Cao Bang.
Today, we’ll have an easy cycling trip on the paved roads which leads to Ban Gioc Waterfalls.
Ride up and down Ma Phuc Pass, you can have chance to dive into the charm of the karst valley as well as the Tay and Nung villages.
Rest for a while during you are having a picnic lunch on arrival.
Then, you will be adminitered a leisure time to enjoy a refreshing swim in the shadow of the magnificent falls.
Finally, hop on a late afternoon bus to return to Cao Bang and stay more night.
In the beginning of the day, you can catch the poetic scene of the remote area. Indulge your breakfast before you have a 67 km morning ride to That Khe by passing 3 mountain passes and Dong Khe. Following your arrival, lunch is already awaiting for you.
Keep on moving to Lang Son and Mau Son in the afternoon by bus.
When we set foot in that location, it’s time to contemplate the picturesque sunset of mountainous area.
Your dinner will be served later and you will stay overnight here.
Recover your body with morning and free to discover near villages, before we start to pedal a downhill ride to Lang Son. This rebuilt town has become an important trading centre as soon as destroyed in the recent Sino-Vietnamese war.
Say farewell to Lang Son, we back on a bus back to Hanoi and enjoy a final dinner in the capital.
